Here is a picture of yesterday’s lunch.

1/4 cup frozen blueberries

3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon shelled hemp seeds

1/2 tablespoon maple syrup

All in one happy making, old fashioned, ice cream shoppe, parfait dish.

I’m here to tell you it was decadent.

That is all.

What’s decadent to you?

What’s your favourite lunch?

    • I know! Right? 😀

Didja like my little dribble lovingly spilling over the side?

That’s some John Stamos worthy Greek Yogurt presentation, no? 😛

  1. Although I don’t eat any of the things in it, your lunch looks delicious. For me decadent is gooey, fudge, brownie, ice creamy. Good on you for being able to think outside the box. (I hope you know what I mean, because I can’t seem to find the words to say it more effectively)

    • You don’t eat blueberries? Really? Oh. I am sad for you. I love blueberries so much. They are childhood to me.

I also could go for gooey, fudge, brownie, ice creamy. OMG! Do you remember the Dairy Queen “Double Fudge Brownie Delight”? *faints*

      So, I have issues. Obviously.

Which is why it is crucial that I learn (and remember that I know how to) think outside the box.

Thank you for always being so supportive and cool. I appreciate you!

  2. Looks like a yummy lunch to me! I would totally arm wrestle you for it!

In the winter I’m partial to soup for lunch, and in the spring/summer/fall, salad is yummy…a big, hearty salad with meat and cheese goodness.

    Yum! Is it lunchtime yet?

    • You wouldn’t even have to. I’d *totally* make you one. I’d make yours prettier though, by layering a bit of the hemp hearts and maple syrup with the berries. 🙂

Soup is so yummy, but I have a hard time with it because in my brain soup needs a nice carb-filled, gluten-y side. I’ve yet to figure that out.

Salad is my go to for lunch when I am being kind to myself.

It’s bedtime, actually. Uh oh! Feeling peckish. 😉

    • It really was. Yes! I know what you mean. Maple syrup is great. It’s the most natural sweetener we have, actually, and it’s really sweet! A little goes a long, flavourful way. 🙂

Soup is yummy. I need to make a good soup this week, but I need to figure out what to have with it…

  3. Decadent….not having ANYTHING planned to run around to…then sitting with a nice cup of coffee…oh and chocolate- chocolate- anytime- anywhere.

    • I agree with you. That *is* decadent. Especially for someone with a jam-packed Saturday schedule.

Chocolate can really make a moment, can’t it? It has to be one piece of excellent chocolate, though. Mmmm. What kind?

I like Lindt. Mmmm. So many dark, rich, choices.
