I love this song.
I love many songs, mind you, but this is the one on my radar this week.
I heard that his former bandmates kicked him out because they thought he had an “annoying voice”.
Hah!
I wonder how those bandmates are feeling about his voice these days?
It just goes to show you… you really can only do what you do.
Control you.
Live your life.
Love it too.
No matter what.
I cannot express how much I embrace the concept, but yes, by all means, sing at the top of your voice.
Happy Peak Performance Day, everyone.
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best. ~Henry Van Dyke (1852-1933)
I hope today finds you happy, healthy and with something to look forward to.
* Realizing a “picture” is a good thing to have in every post, I went searching and found this on a fun blog about teaching piano. The picture is cute. The blog is really great. Pinterest is a blogger’s BFF. Seriously!
Happy PPD!!! š Enjoy your Day!, Be you! and I’ll Be ME!!!
Thank you!
I have lemon in my water and the sun just came out. I am just going to go with that! š
Yes! Let’s be ourselves – we are so good at that – always. š

I have a bad voice. Everyone would agree. Except my Mother.
If today is Peak Performance Day then I’m in BIG trouble…

I’m sitting hear listening to the whippoorwill reading while reading this post. So the opening quote is parfait! And if you didn’t know it already, I’m a traveling rock star. Just ask the old dude who was stuck next to me in the traffic jam last week as I belted it out at the top of my lungs. Windows down of course.
