This is not an April Fool’s Day post.
Oh no.
This is Nova Scotia on the last day of March.
This is what I woke up to discover this morning.
I couldn’t believe it.
I heard nothing about this in the weather forecast.
The *very* last day of March!
How can this be?!?
What is happening?
Is it ever going to end?
All we want is to be happy and maybe have a full lane on a busy road and not sink up to our thighs while stepping outside for a breath of fresh air.
We just want to walk freely down a sidewalk and not fear for our lives while crossing at an intersection.
Can’t we just go back to the park and play? Walk along the water? Enjoy the scenery?
Is that too much to ask?
Yes. Yes it is.
Why?
Because in Nova Scotia we are walking in a winter wonderland.
Forever.
And ever.
And ever.
I hear ya. 😦
The good news is it is sunny today! W00t!
This had better not be an April Fool’s Day prank from an out of her snow loving mind Mother Nature. 😉
Everybody should have some so-hot-they’ll-melt-your-snowbank moves while dancing this week. 😀
ours is melting
Yay, melting!
Melting is *thiiiiiis* close to replacing smiling as my favourite. 😀
If it makes you feel any better, spring is not exactly eager to arrive in Ottawa either. It’s nice today, but we’re expected to go back in the deep freeze.
Canada!! Hoo boy!
There are flurries in our forecast. *sigh*
How are the tulips supposed to bloom?
You have had THE WORST winter. You have all my sympathy!!
It’s kind of ridiculous, isn’t it?
I don’t even know what to say anymore.
It’s apparently going to warm up … eventually.
I forget what grass looks like. We tried to take the kids to the park on Easter weekend and it’s still covered in a foot of snow!
That is truly awful!! I hope some of that white stuff has melted since then 🙂
*Now* it is melting! Yay! We still have lots down on the ground, but it is really melting.
It’s actually 10 degrees outside right now! 😀
It’s very exciting!
